Coeur d'Alene Thursday

Today was a double reunion day. My brothers Carl and Don and their wives Rose and Bobbi arrived at the Winnebago at 8:45 AM for a scheduled visit with our cousin Ed Kantola and his wife Virginia who live just south of Coeur d'Alene in St Maries, Idaho.  Ed and Virginia arrived at 10:30 AM and we spent the next four hours visiting and eating.

Cousin Ed is becoming a very proficient wood carver.  He brought some of his work to share with us.

Late afternoon we headed for Camp Lutherhaven and the first events of our Jurvelin Family Gathering. We began by posing for a group photo (less the Carlson clan) and then enjoyed a nice dinner prepared by the camp staff.

After dinner we gathered in the Retreat Center and spent a few hours discussing our family history and building the Family Orchard.
